Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR)
Earn the designation that distinguishes the service you deliver!

ACSR is an international designation program developed and administered by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) to promote and recognize the professionalism of customer service personnel in the insurance industry. With more than 13,000 designees, ACSR is the nation’s largest program of its kind.  The ASCR program trains front-line insurance personnel to understand coverages and analyze risks and exposures with top-notch instruction and cutting edge content.  These courses will help everyone in the office provide exceptional customer service by learning current, practical, up-to-date information that can be applied immediately in daily interactions with customers.  In addition, the program has been approved for continuing education credit for ACSRs who are licensed in the state of Oregon.

How Do I Earn the ACSR Designation?    

ACSR offers designations in both personal lines and commercial lines. The ACSR courses may be taken in any order. All course work must be completed within six (6) years from the first exam.  Students must pass the appropriate exams to satisfy requirements for each ACSR designation.
 

Personal Lines:  The candidate must complete a minimum of five modules and pass exams for the three personal lines technical module and two core modules. 
 

Commercial Lines:  The candidate must complete a minimum of six modules and pass exams for the four commercial lines technical modules and the two core modules.

ACSR On-Line

For those who cannot attend an ACSR class, online study is available.  Time away from the office is difficult to arrange so take advantage of the greater flexibility in scheduling, the reduced travel expense, self-directed study of ACSR On-Line.  12 On-Line modules are available. All ACSR guidelines apply.  Online ASCR classes are available through The Institutes.
